FC Barcelona to Host First Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou on Saturday

The club confirmed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in La Liga over two years since relocating to allow renovations to start.

“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated approval is being pursued by UEFA for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht on 9 December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
